If you have not signed up for the Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage but are interested in doing so, call us at Preferred Care Gold. There are yearly enrollment periods, but some Medicare beneficiaries are eligible to enroll at other times of the year.

If you already have Preferred Care's Part D drug coverage and want to keep it, you do NOT need to re-enroll.

Remember, joining is voluntary.  But if you don’t join when you are first eligible, your monthly premium MAY be higher when you do join, because there’s an added fee for enrolling late.

If you decide not to join Part D because you have “creditable coverage” — coverage that is at least as good as Medicare (such as an employer plan, EPIC or VA plan) — you will NOT have to pay the added fee for late enrollment.
